Michael's Story of Recovery and Hope

When I first came to BehaviorCorp I didn’t want to help myself. I was still using drugs. No one was going to stop me, especially not some clinician in a drug therapy program. And, I didn’t stop. I showed them.

I was arrested twice while I was still in therapy. And, each time I was arrested I had to start over in the class.  Currently, I’m part of the Aftercare Program at BehaviorCorp. I’m now almost “six months clean.”

It has been a long and difficult journey to get where I am now, but I know for a fact that without the help and support of BehaviorCorp’s drug program I wouldn’t have made it this far. I’m so thankful for the program. It has helped me regain control of my life and slowly piece together my broken family. I can honestly say that without the program and the wonderful counselors I’d be dead or in some institution.
